Working with a health coach can help you build healthy habits in virtually any area of your life.
Even if you don’t have specific health needs or goals in mind, a health coach can have a life-changing impact on your health and well-being. From stress to nutrition, sleep to exercise and more, a health coach can help you identify goals to improve your well-being, break them into achievable steps and help you stay accountable and motivated along the way.
When you contact WebMD to begin health coaching, you will work with any available health coach at the time of your call. If you prefer the continuity of the same coach each month, this can be arranged upon your request. Every coach will know your goals and concerns so you can feel confident that whoever you talk to is qualified and able to focus just on you.
Every coaching session and conversation is confidential — between you and your coaches.
When you complete the online health assessment, you may receive phone call about the option to meet with a WebMD health coach. Everyone is encouraged to try at least one health coaching call.
How to initiate health coaching
- On the U.S. Well-Being platform through WebMD, online or with the Wellness at Your Side app: Select Coaching, in the upper right hand menu, to schedule a convenient time to meet with your health coach. You and your coach can send and receive secure, private messages through Coach Connect online and through the app.
- By phone: Call 800.493.5980 option 2 to speak with an available health coach or to schedule a convenient time to chat. Coaches are available Monday – Thursday, 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. PT and Friday, 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. PT.
Points and rewards
- Complete WebMD health coaching sessions by August 30, 2024, to earn 20 points per session per month up to a maximum of 60 points.
- Complete 4 health coaching sessions by August 30, 2024 to earn a $75 gift card.
