- Your child’s coverage ends the first of the month following your child’s 26th birthday.
- Your child may be eligible to receive continued coverage for up to 36 months under COBRA. When your covered child turns age 26, you’ll receive a COBRA enrollment packet from the AECOM Benefits Service Center. To see a preview of your COBRA options and costs, access the COBRA modeler available through your personalized benefits account. Log in, select the Life Changes tab and then select Continuing Coverage Through COBRA.
- You may be able to port or convert your child life coverage, if enrolled. If you intend to apply for a policy, it is important that you submit a request for quote as soon as possible after coverage ends. Complete the Notice of Conversion and/or Portability Rights form and email it to portabilityandconversions@selmanco.com with “Notice of Continuation of Coverage” in the subject line.
