Daily life can be overwhelming enough, but now more than ever, your brain needs a break. Stress can impact your physical and mental health, disrupt your sleep, impact your performance at work and negatively affect your relationships. To counteract and reduce stress, anxiety and worry, give your brain a moment to relax and recharge on a regular basis.
Beginning July 15, track activities that give your brain a break such as meditation, an act of kindness, deep breathing, power napping and more as part of Brain Break. When you track 5 minutes of brain break activities for 21 days between July 15 and August 12, you will earn 25 wellness points. You can report and track your activities on to the StayWell wellness website (log in and go to the Challenges tab) and on the My StayWell app.
Once you track at least one Brain Break activity, you’ll receive occasional Brain Break emails with information and tips to help you reduce stress.
Be sure to start tracking no later than July 23 so you can get all your minutes in on time.
